Overview
Overview
The Ott C2 is a compact mechanical current meter designed for accurate flow velocity and discharge measurements in shallow water. Its small dimensions make it particularly suitable for small rivers, channels, runoff ditches, laboratories, and river models.
The C2 can be used in water depths starting at just 4 cm and reliably measures flow velocities from 0.025 to 5 m/s. Its robust construction and compact design make it well suited for both field measurements and applications at difficult-to-access monitoring locations. It is available for measurements using 9 mm or 20 mm wading rods.
