This firmware version is not suitable for OTT Pluvio² 200 (RH) and OTT Pluvio² 400 (RH) (former generation of devices)! Use only the OTT Pluvio² operating software version 1.08.1 or higher for the update! The update is identic for all Pluvio²S versions (OTT Pluvio²S 200, OTT Pluvio²S 200 RH) After attaching the USB interface, the OTT Pluvio²L/S interrupts communication on the other interfaces! It is mandatory NOT to interrupt the " OTT Pluvio²L/S <-> PC"-connection during the update! How to install the update: If not done so far: install USB interface driver and OTT Pluvio² operating program on a PC (recommended: notebook). (For more information see chapter 7.6, section "Preparation" of the OTT Pluvio² S manual.) Download the file "7003030293_Vxxxx_Pluvio2_L_S.bin" to the PC. The actual update can be carried out on site on an installed OTT Pluvio² S: Unscrew the three knurled screws on the pipe housing. Remove pipe housing. Remove cover of USB interface and connect the OTT Pluvio² S to the PC with a USB cable; see OTT Pluvio² S manual, fig. 23. Start operating program. Click on "Connect" -> the operating software establishes a connection to the OTT Pluvio² S and calls various status information Choose "Firmware update" (-> operating software shows the currently installed firmware version) Click on "Start the firmware update" Confirm warning with "Yes" -> a window opens where you can choose the new firmware (file "7003030293_Vxxxx_Pluvio2_L_S.bin). Choose the downloaded file and click on "Open" -> the operating program transfers the firmware into the OTT Pluvio² S. (After the update OTT Pluvio²S will start the new firmware and resumes automatic operation.) Quit operating program. Remove USB cable. Replace the cover for the USB interface. Empty the collecting bucket if necessary. Align and replace the pipe housing. Tighten the three knurled screws again.

Please note: Strongly recommended: update all OTT Pluvio² rain gauge with a firmware version of V 1.50.0 or V 1.50.1 as soon as possible to version V 1.50.3! With a firmware version < V 1.50.0 an update at the next scheduled maintenance interval is also advised! This firmware version is not for OTT Pluvio² L 200 (RH) and OTT Pluvio² L 400 (RH) (new device generation)! For the update use only OTT Pluvio² operating software version 1.08.1 or higher! The update is identic for all OTT Pluvio² versions: OTT Pluvio² 200, OTT Pluvio² 200 RH and OTT Pluvio² 400. Please note: from version 1.08.1 the operating software needs version 2.12.00 (or higher) of the USB-infterface drivers for OTT Pluvio² / ... L / ... S. If required please download the USB-interface drivers as well and install them on your PC! How to install the update: Download the file "Setup_Pluvio2_Pluvio2SOP_Vxxxx_EN.exe" to your PC. Start the file "Setup_Pluvio2_Pluvio2SOP_Vxxxx_EN.exe" -> the "InstallShield Wizard" (installation program) opens. Follow the installation instructions on the screen.
