Lufft WS Series – Compact Weather Sensors

Compact all-in-one weather sensor from Lufft

Depending on the version, the new device family offers the following measuring components:

• Ultrasonic anemometer with electronic compass
• Temperature Sensor
• Capacitive sensor for relative humidity
• barometric pressure sensor
• Global radiation sensor (CMP3)
• Sensor for liquid precipitation (tilt balancing system)
• Sensor for liquid and solid precipitation (Doppler radar)

The serial interfaces SDI-12 and optionally RS-485 with several output protocols make the devices interface-compatible for all OTT data loggers, ADCON RTUs, standard HydroMet data loggers and PLC systems. Configurable power saving modes keep power consumption low. Heating and fan are switchable. As a result, the device can be used for hydro-meteorological applications with a solar supply as well as for applications with mains supply for heated winter Operation.
