Your current working life will certainly look similar to the cover picture for many of you. Most of us from OTT HydroMet are working from home, as well. In order to usefully bridge this time, we set up an interdisciplinary online seminar program for you to keep you up to date despite the COVID 19 crisis…
As you may know, our first on-site training sessions should already be taking place at the moment, introducing you to our products through hands-on sessions. But unfortunately, the current situation forces us to postpone these dates until further notice.
However, we still have the possibility to train you online: Our spontaneously compiled webinar program contains, among others, some components of the on-site training modules and is therefore well-suited to gradually familiarize yourself with the topics that are interesting for you.
All online seminars are free of charge and include a Q&A round in which our specialists answer your questions directly.
Two live dates are scheduled for each topic. All those who are unable to attend the live dates will receive a link to the webinar recording afterward. It is therefore important that you remain registered for the appointment and do not sign out again.

Discharge measurement systems – Expert exchange
In addition to logistical and hydrological requirements, the hydraulic on-site conditions are decisive for the professional planning of a discharge measurement system. The webinar will outline the hydraulic aspects of site selection for the installation of ultrasonic Doppler systems and systems for determining the flow rate using surface velocity measurements. In addition, you will receive hands-on advice for the evaluation of measuring sites.
- Date 1: Tue, May 19, 10:00 am, duration: max. 1 h
- Date 2: Tue, May 26, 10:00 am, duration: max. 1 h
Continuously operating discharge measurement systems produce data around the clock. The measuring conditions are not always ideal. Negative environmental influences or disadvantageous measuring conditions affecting the measuring principle can distort data or lead to data loss. It is therefore recommended to check the plausibility of the measured data at regular intervals. This webinar offers support in the analysis and interpretation of measurement data from the above systems using practical examples.
- Date 1: Tue, May 19, 1:00 pm, duration: max. 1 h
- Date 2: Tue, May 26, 1:00 pm, duration: max. 1 h
